Chloe, Henrik, and David was together with a couple of other kids invited for some Easter pottering at our local Bauhaus Supermarket.
An appreciated annual event!

Pots were painted...

Dads and Mums had a nice cup of coffee.

...and painted!

Dads and Mums had another cup.

Eventually a chicken was made.

Finally the painted pots were planted with Cat Grass seeds, that hopefully will grow up til Easter. Oops, it's just a week left, hurry, hurry!

Some Dads and Mums managed to get a third final cup.
Well, Dads did.
Ok, One Dad did!

Thank You very much for this fun event!

Now, three days later the Cat Grass has begun growing!
Just as we are reading in the ad paper that Bauhaus is opening a new supermarket in the city Sundsvall. Any minute now!

The white feather like thing in center, and another smaller one, up to the right. A closer look at the center seed.
BauhausEasterPottering20080315 (18).JPG (378653 byte) Both these pictures were taken on day four, the left in the morning, and the right in the evening. BauhausEasterPottering20080315 (17).JPG (376091 byte)
Never mind what I said about the white feather in center in the previous pictures. I don't know what it is any longer, and it doesn't seem to grow either. :-)

Around eight hours later, on the window sill in the kitchen.

Morning day five! The most beautiful belongings Mother have, she puts on the table.
And here GT is, watching the Cat Grass grow!

An inch later in the evening!
Sorry, I didn't get the grass in focus, but Henrik thought it was equally important to get one of his racing cars in the picture.

Oh dear, It's Maundy Thursday!
What shall we do? Where is the Easter candy?

Here it aught to be a song or something? It's not so easy to remember one on request.

Do you want some candy?

I think it's Daniel and Julia in the middle.

Was it a good treat? Good enough, No trick! See ya next year!
BauhausEasterPottering20080320 (28).JPG (151970 byte) We have had an almost green winter.
a few days ago however, we got maybe two inches of snow.
It thaws a little in the sun, and freezes at night.
Exactly as it should in a perfect month of March! :-)

On Good Friday morning, day six, Henrik once again did chose the background he fancies most (for the moment), the latest version of the Mini Cooper.
In the evening however, I was in sole power of choosing background myself!

Since Good Friday has been the most boring day every year since my childhood (by tradition?), we have decided to do something about it.
The Trollskogen (Troll forrest) playground in Skärholmen for Henrik during the afternoon, and a good dinner for us in the evening. That's why I had a chance to choose background for once!  :-))

This is the kind of weather we had before noon!

And this is after noon! Just below freezing, and fun to play in!
It may be one of very few occasions to play in snow this winter!
BauhausEasterPottering20080401 (35).JPG (185110 byte)
This is what happens when eating too much of a certain tewing gum that I can't remember the name of. And oranges from Morocco! :-)

Now I remember the name of the tewing gum!
Hubba Bubba!
:-)

Now on Fools Day I believe all seeds have begun growing.
For our enjoyment!

This is the last picture of the Cat Grass taken the 14th of April. Now I expect GT to start eating of it. The thing is that he hasn't even pretended to be the least interested. Guess he gets what he need when he is out. :-)

See you next year, or, maybe already the coming Christmas?!
